Hunt Story

After church, Tucker and his Dad, David Josey, headed to the deer woods a little later than normal on Sunday, October 15th. Youth season had just started and because of football practices and Tucker's Middle School football team being top in the state, there wouldn't be any other time in the week for hunting. They headed out. David and Tucker had been working on trails, stands, and food plots leading up to this season. They stepped out of the truck and took a few steps toward their stand only to see a beautiful buck in the clearing. Tucker lowered to one knee and shaking took his shot. He missed. The 10-point buck never flinched. He took a deep breath and took down the 210 lb monster on the 2nd shot with his .243 Remington rifle. David said, "Some men hunt their whole life and never have this opportunity. I'm thankful I could be there with my son." Tucker said, "My Dad would have hit him with the first shot, but my favorite part I'd just being with my best buddy, my Dad."
