Hunt Story
We had gotten the buck on camera the first time on Oct 2nd. We got in early and quiet. The buck came in early from downwind and behind us. Luckily we heard him and the blind kept us concealed. He came in to feed, and right before Tripp could shoot a little 6 came in and blocked him for about 15 minutes. The target buck eased off but couldn’t resist coming back in when the smaller 6-point started grunting and messing with the does. Tripp made an awesome 30-yard heart shot, and the buck was done within seconds and dropped in sight! The buck showed 162 live weight on the scale and was already loaded with fat.
