Hunt Story
The buck came cruising through at 4:29, and I stopped him in a shooting lane and dropped him in his tracks. This is a deer that is at least 6 1/2 to 7 1/2 years old. We have had trail-cam pics of him since 2011, and he looked to be 2 1/2 maybe 3 1/2 then. I saw him two years ago with my bow chasing a doe and just never could get a shot, and then I missed him opening weekend of bow season this year. Not the largest scoring deer I've ever killed but definitely the oldest, and with all the history that comes with this deer I could not be more blessed/happy to have taken this old warrior.
