Hunt Story
I went to the new farm for an afternoon hunt since the weather had cooled off, and around 5:30 a buck and doe appeared about 200 yards out in one of the winter wheat fields. I shot the buck in the shoulder, and he ran out of the plot into the hardwood bottom that was flooded with all the recent rain. My friend and I were not able to find any blood in the food plot right before dark, so we decided to back out and go recover him in the morning when we could see. Within 5 minutes the next morning we found the buck in a small creek bottom 80 yards from where he had been shot.
