Hunt Story

It had been raining for two days, and the creek had crested above its banks. I had to find an alternate route to my stand because of high water in the swamp. The water had changed the deer normal paths. About 5:15 I heard splashing behind the stand, and 15 minutes later he stepped out in the food plot. At first I wasn't going to shoot, but he turned and I noticed the long brow tines (6 1/2 and 5 3/4). I took the shoot and he dropped in his tracks.
