Hunt Story
I was hunting a travel corridor between acorn trees and bedding area. At 7:45 a.m., I saw a deer moving through the brush. I got a glimpse of antlers. I got my bow and started looking for an opening to shoot through. The deer was walking steadily, and I had only one opening to shoot through, at about 35 yards. I could not stop the deer, so when he came into the opening I released the arrow. The shot looked a little far back, and the deer ran out of sight. I waited about 15 minutes and climbed down out of my stand. I found blood only a few yards from where I shot the deer, but could not find my arrow. I trailed the deer approximately 150 yards. The shot was a little far back and high, but the Rage broadhead did the job!
