Hunt Story
Tate and his brother Max had a virtual school day due to the high school football team having an out of town playoff football game on Friday the 11th. I decided that we should go hunting. We were running late and it was after daylight when we got into the ground blind. We were there about 30 minutes, and Tate had recently blown the grunt. I looked up and saw the buck walking toward us in the road next to the food plot. Tate got ready, and when the buck turned to walk across the food plot, Tate shot and the deer ran off through the food plot. We went and got the truck and started looking for blood. We hadn't seen any blood and were at the back of the food plot where I last saw the buck after the shot. I looked up and saw the deer dead about 30 yards ahead of us.
