Hunt Story
Saw nine deer prior to buck, including a spike and a 4-point that were harassing does. Right before dusk a mature doe came out of pines to my left and walked up to stand and into food plot. Two minutes later this huge deer came out behind here. He was a mature heavy rack buck. Never had him (nor had our three neighbors) on camera. He was about 30 yards away when I shot, and he crashed into thick bedding area and I heard him fall. Luckily we have a neighbor with a trailing dog, and he came over and his beagle found the deer in the thickest stuff you can imagine, only 40 yards from the stand.
