Hunt Story
Around 7:50 a.m., I had a flock of 24 turkeys feeding in front of stand, heard several coyotes running something in the distance and had a doe blowing behind me. About 8:00 I saw a doe come running in from direction of blowing. I could tell the young doe was uncomfortable, and I soon saw a big buck about 15 yards away and grunting every step. Doe ran by at about 12 yards with buck in tow. Shot when he was out about 50 yards. Neck shot dropped him in his tracks. Buck had three broken tines, (both brow tines and G3 on right side). My two boys, Landry (6) and Athen (4) in picture with me.
