Hunt Story
Went into the woods about 5:30 PM. Walked down an old trail with multiple scrapes. Got into my deer stand at the edge of the trail. Seen movement to my right and it was a small doe coming in. I let her walk. She got about 100 yards out, and I heard a snort/wheeze in that direction. I thought here we go....So I grunted one time. 15 minutes passed the buck came in from my left side and moved to the right about 20 yards. I shot with the buck walking. Waited 45 minutes got down retrieved my arrow, it did not look promising. Not much of a blood trail. Searched for about an hour and a half. Went back the next day and found the ole fella in the creek about 150 yards out.
