Hunt Story
We were watching eight or so deer in the food plot (all does and yearlings), when the 9-pointer came out checking the does in the field. He went around grunting and checking each doe, then finally stopped broadside at around 80 yards. I asked my son if he thinks he should shoot this one or wait for one bigger. He said he was a "giant" and wanted to kill him. Smisson made a great shot; the deer mule kicked and ran about 50 yards to the edge of the woods before he went down.
