Hunt Story

I was sitting in a climber in a pine hardwood mix watching a 6-point eating scattered corn. I was trying to get the 6-point closer so I could video him. At 7:00 p.m. I grunted and hit my bleat can. I immediately heard a snort wheeze to my left and looked. A large racked buck walked to a scrape and began pawing. The 6-pointer walked toward him with his hair standing on back. Before he reached him, I took my .270 off safety and shot the larger buck in the brisket. The buck did a back flip and landed. I Immediately called my dad, Sean Fitzgerald, and told him the news. Then I climbed down and put my hands on the biggest buck I've ever taken. It was the most exciting hunt I've ever had. Sean then came and we loaded the buck up to show off to my friends and family.
