Hunt Story
I had seen this buck 2 times in the previous 2 days in a cotton field. I sat in a ladder stand for an afternoon hunt and saw 4 does and a button buck, which fed for around 45 minutes. After the does and yearling buck left the field, I hit my estrus can and grunt. Within 3 minutes the buck entered the field looking for the sounds I had made with the calls. When he turned broadside I shot him in the shoulder and he fell within 30 yards. It was a great hunt!
