Hunt Story
When we got into the stand, a couple of does came out about 200 yards away. After about 10 minutes they started getting nervous and eventually ran off. The buck then came out and walked to about 150 yards and stopped behind a tree. He stood behind the tree about 5 minutes, then he stepped back out broadside. That was when I realized how big he was. I put the crosshairs on his shoulder and pulled the trigger. He rolled when I shot, so I knew I had hit him. He ended up running about 50 yards, and we were able to find him quickly.
