Hunt Story
I got in the stand about 30 minutes before daylight. I sat there did not see anything. Then at about 9:50 a doe runs by me from left to right. My dad is hunting on the same land but not really near me. He said he would come get me when he is ready to go. Ten minutes after I see that doe, I hear my dad whistle so I whistled back, and a nice deer walked out. My dad is 40 yards away, and it’s a nice buck. I scope in on it and it’s a nice 8-point, it it is in the path of the doe and it was not stopping. So I had to grunt, when I did it stopped. So I shot it and it started running to the box stand and 5 yards in front of the stand it turned and stumbled down a hill. I unloaded my gun and jumped out the stand and ran to my dad and said I smoked a big one. We tracked it about 50 yards, and I heart shot it.
