Hunt Story
I was set up on a hardwood ridge that is heavy in acorns and is near a thick bedding area. This area has been heavily populated with does and good buck sign. I did some early morning doe bleats and a few young buck grunt calls. When I changed to a mature buck grunt call, this buck came in shortly after to see what was going on. The time between seeing him and shooting him was only a few minutes. To make it even better it's was my youngest daughter's 6th birthday, so I new the day was already blessed!
