Hunt Story
I was able to get off work early from my nursing job at our local hospital. I met up with both my father and husband on our hunting property we have had since I was 21. My husband really wanted to go to the pine field, as did I, since we have both missed on this deer twice this season. My husband ended up wanting to go to a different location on our property and let me hunt the pine field. I did not see a single deer on the hunt. Then all of a sudden right at dark he showed up. I took my best shot with my trusty 7 mag and found him 45 yards into the pines short after. Super lucky and blessed to have had the opportunity to take this deer. My father and husband were both so, so proud! Both of them said they would have never been able to make the shot I made. Especially with how foggy it was.
