Hunt Story
Got in my stand at 3:45 p.m. At 4 p.m., I heard a deer walking to my left. He stepped out at 100 yards. The first shot missed and the deer acted like he wasn't hit. He kept walking, so I shot again and missed again. At this point I was beside myself. I sat down to reload my Thompson Center single shot and hear another deer walking behind me. It was a doe. I heard a buck grunting behind her. I immediately knew it was the deer I had just missed. I shot him directly under the stand and dropped him. It was meant to be for me to kill this buck.
