Hunt Story
I thank God for the opportunity to harvest this buck, we have had many pictures of him over the last three years. My son Griffin proved to be a great guide as he told me which tree to hunt. At 7:30 two does come in to feed, about five minutes later I look up and see the buck coming. While watching him for 10 minutes without a shot, the ol' shakey's started settling in. He finally made a move and turned broadside, and I settled down enough to let it fly at 35 yards. The Rage found its spot. After two hours of anxiously awaiting, the hunt would end when my youngest son Garrett said, "There's your deer dad." He only ran 50 yards. Thanks for the memories boys.
