Hunt Story
I observed a doe walk out of the wood line into a field of cut sorghum. Shortly after she began to cross the field a buck appeared and followed close behind. I watched the buck cross the sorghum field, then cross a small creek before stopping to feed in a food plot on the other side of the creek. After watching a few more bucks enter the plot, I decided he was the one. A well placed shot ended in a short 30-yard track. He was piled up in the middle of the field. By far the latest I’ve ever taken a buck in a season!
