Hunt Story
The weather in Pickens County had been rainy and cold the last few days, but the weather was predicted to clear up Saturday. I knew this change would have the deer active. I got to the stand around 3:30, about 45 minutes later a small spike walked out with a doe. I watched the two together for about 10 minutes. The doe left and a small 4-point entered the area. About 15 minutes past and this big guy joined the party. I watched him for about 10 minutes before deciding to try to connect with him. This is a new buck to my hunting area, I’ve been seeing him on camera for about two weeks now.
