Hunt Story
I first got pictures of this buck the evening before while I was hunting another spot so I decided to hunt him the next evening. With showers on and off most of the evening I had passed on two decent bucks, one of which I had passed up for the third time this season. At around 5:30 I noticed a large bodied deer approaching my food source and knew immediately that it was the one I was after. He came in perfect and gave me a 22 yd broadside shot. I felt good about the shot however if I don't see or hear the deer go down. I usually wait until the next day but in this case I found him on the way to my truck laying just 15yds from the road I was parked on.
