Hunt Story
I had many pictures of this deer. I had a previous encounter back in September when I was able to shoot him high in the chest area only to see him walk away after the shot. He finally showed back up on camera a few days later but was nocturnal at this point. But finally showed back up in daylight and I was able to place my shot much better with him quartering away at just 10 yards. He ran maybe 50 yards. About 8 inches of the arrow from the September shot was still laying in his chest cavity when I dressed him out. He's just a solid mature 8-point with a 19-inch inside spread...
