Hunt Story
I checked my camera Sunday at 1:45 p.m. and saw that two of the three mountable bucks that I have been seeing showing up at night had been moving in the daytime. One was Friday afternoon and the other was Sunday at 12:30 p.m. before I arrived. I was hoping to get lucky and maybe see the third one that afternoon, so I went back home to get my gun for the afternoon hunt. When I got in the house blind at 3:45 there no action of any kind until until 5:40 p.m. when this 12-point walks out of the young pines on the property joining my hunting land. I was shocked to see the third buck had made his presence be known 60 yards from where I’m sitting. I didn’t give him time to do anything when he stepped into that not so good food plot before I shot him.
