Hunt Story

Got this one on Sunday morning out of my ground blind. I almost did not go when the alarm went off due to the rain and slept in an extra hour. I drug myself out and hit the woods. I changed my mindset and got a positive outlook, and the next thing you know here comes a small 8-point. I let him walk. An hour later I had a shooter weave his way past me and could not get a shot. I was still happy to be out in the woods and did not get down even though the big boy slipped past me. An hour later, I looked to my left and at 5-7 yards was this big boy walking past, I could not believe it! I was fortunate enough to shoot him at 10 yards and he hit the dirt at 20 yards stone dead. It was an honorable death. There is nothing as magnificent as a big mature buck going through the woods, they are magnificent
