I walked from my house to the house stand at 4:15. While looking through my binoculars, the deer stepped out of the woods into the wheat food plot. I lost sight of him behind a big oak tree. He walked across the clear cut into the other food plot at which time I lifted my gun and took a 50-yard shot where he dropped in his tracks.
