Hunter: Robert Barber
Points: 8 (4L, 4R)
I went to a stand I normally hunt in the evenings because of the high winds. I wasn't expecting to see much, but to my surprise the biggest 8-pointer I've ever killed decided to show up 60 yards away. He made a scrape while I sized him up. When he started across the plot, I took my shot. He made it just inside the woodline and expired. I thanked the Lord and gathered my gear for about 30 minutes. Then I climbed down and retrieved my deer.
