Hunt Story
Was hunting out of a box blind overlooking a break between hardwoods and the swamp. Was actually wishing I was squirrel hunting because there was probably 25 squirrels running everywhere. About 9 a.m. a wide 8 came walking by at a decent clip. Was able to get a shot in him and he ran about 75 yards down into the swamp. Was by myself and it took about 2 hours to get him out. Looking forward to dogging them squirrels now.
