Hunt Story
Blessed to have tagged out on this beautiful Sabbath Day with a nice Jackson County 10-point. Movement was slow on this misty, cloudy morn. But, the feel was in the air for a big buck morn. At 8:30, I looked up and somehow this deer had slipped into the food plot and was 60 yards feeding and making his way back to cover. I put my papa's .280 up and quickly shot him. The back-leg kick made me feel good about the shot. My dad and brother came down and we immediately found blood and had found the deer within 40 yards of where I shot him. After killing a good 9-point earlier in the year, it feels good to be tagged out and now helping my younger twin brothers get deer. Fun year and good memories. Thank you Lord!
