Hunt Story
This is a buck we have history with since we got the property 3 years ago and dubbed him Frank the Tank. His rack never changed much but he was the biggest body deer on the property. Frank hadn’t been coming in the evenings lately so we actually didn’t plan on seeing him, but after a group of does and gobblers moved off, Raelynn spotted him at the bottom of the field coming in hot to get to the feeding area. We didn’t waste any time and got her ready to take the shot. He finally presented a broadside shot at about 95 yards and she made a great shot with the 350 Legend. He piled up within 30 yards. Our family has enjoyed seeing Frank all these years and we will enjoy the memories and sightings we have had. He hit 195 on the scale and is the heaviest deer taken on our property so far!
