Hunter: Quinn Norton
Points: 8 (4L, 4R)
My daughter and I went to our two-man ladder stand on Friday afternoon. We had seen several does and small bucks when this 8-point came walking out about 5:30. She made a great shot with a Ruger .308 rifle and he ran less than 75 yards. After recovery of this deer, we realized this was the buck that she wounded back on 10/23. We had tracked this deer over 450 yards and lost blood. The deer had a wound low in the brisket but was almost completely healed up. We had not seen this buck, nor got a trail camera picture of him since she wounded him back on 10/23. She was very excited to get the buck that she originally shot. I am very thankful it worked out and blessed to spend time with her in the woods.
