Hunt Story
Didn’t get to my stand until 5 pm, saw a spike checking two scrapes out in front of my stand at 5:30 pm, decided to let him walk knowing that bigger deer were in the area. At 6pm I saw a my buck about 75 yards below me chasing some does, I couldn’t get a shot. At 6:10 pm I heard something behind me and turned to see three does slipping by with the buck right behind them. As I turned to look, the does saw me and took off running, as the buck started behind them i got my shot, perfect heart shot. He when about 70 yards and dropped, great afternoon in the woods.
