Hunt Story
My best friend Lance has shot this buck we had named Twin Towers because of his really long brow tines a week ago and we had tracked him a mile but never caught up, even with a dog. So we didn’t know if he was dead or not. Then Thursday he was back on camera and looked fine! So I hunted him Friday evening with no luck. Saturday morning I came to the stand kinda late and spooked two deer off, thinking this might have ruined the hunt. A few minutes in I saw a doe. Couple minutes later a young 9-point came to the feeder with a couple of spikes. Then I noticed him staring to the side for a while and I looked and here came Twin Towers! He came in ears laid back like he was ready for a fight. He stopped at 30 yards for a perfectly broadside shot and a double lung shot he barely made it 50 yards! He is my biggest archery buck.
