I started getting this deer on camera about a month ago. Noticed his back foot didn’t look right so I coined him “pimp with a limp” Stayed out of the area and didn’t hunt him till I felt the time was right. Killed him on the 2nd set and only the 2nd time he’s daylighted. Had several deer around me for the evening and right before he showed up they all bolted and got out of the area. Within 5 minutes of them disappearing he showed himself. One shot and he was on the ground. A month of sleepless nights and worry of someone else killing him was over and the chapter was closed.
