Hunt Story
Nick was hunting over some scrapes in a creek bottom on a small patch of private land. About 6:50 PM the buck came into view and worked a scrape. Nick shot the deer with his bow and watched the deer run out of sight. He got down, found blood, found his arrow then called for help. Two friends showed up and the boys trailed the deer for approximately 200 yards before jumping the deer. The boys decided to back out and leave him til the morning. The next morning Nick and his dad did a quick search and couldn’t find the deer. Nick’s dad called Taylor Farrow, South Georgia deer tracking service. Taylor showed up and promptly found the deer only a short distance from where the last blood was seen.
