Hunt Story

On a very cold morning on December 6th, I got in my stand at daylight. There was no movement until around 9 a.m. when a doe came by. Nothing moved for another hour and fifteen minutes. This buck came in through the thicket on top of the ridge. I saw movement, realized it was a deer, and got my scope on him as he came through the gap with his nose to the round. I saw all the antlers and had no time; either do or don't. I shot him in the neck, and he dropped on the spot.
