After watching several deer moving through sage grass and into a hardwood bottom I moved from the grown-up field I was hunting into a high place overlooking the hardwood bottom. After about 45 minutes this buck walked right through the bottom by himself on a morning stroll. I shot him about 60 yards away and recovered him right away!! Great morning dec hunt!!
