Hunt Story

I honestly lucked out on this deer. I was hunting a field where does funnel out from their bedding area. I was going to head back to the house at 9 a.m. After having not seen anything during the hunt, I turned around not expecting to see anything, but at 8:53 I turned around and over my right shoulder this buck was staring at me at 60 yards. I had to slowly swing my rifle around but thankfully there were two trees blocking the deer from seeing most of my movement. I could not tell how big the deer was other than his antlers were at the ears. After getting my rifle around, the deer took one step out from behind the trees and I shot him. He dropped right where he was for an easy recovery.
