Hunt Story
I was blessed on the last hunt of my rut vacation to harvest this awesome buck. There is a sense of accomplishment when a bowhunter comes to full draw on a mature buck and the buck does not know it. That feeling can not be described! I had this buck come out of a thick area 70 yards out and not coming my way. I knew it was the buck I wanted to tag out with, so I pull out my bleat can and turn it over a couple times. The buck stops and makes a 90 degree turn and is headed my way! I ranged several trees and came to full draw. I stopped him the first time and I had no shot. I stopped him again at 28 yards, he turns and is quartering away hard. I level up and place my pin behind his last rib and the lighted nock finds its mark! The buck went 60 yards or so and was down for good.
