Hunt Story
I first got a picture of this buck three weeks ago, but didn't see him again until this morning. I could hear deer around my stand while walking in. I grunted after getting settled in my stand and immediately heard deer coming toward me. I could barely see a doe come to my feeder, my buck following shortly after. The doe ran off, yet I couldn't take the shot. It was too dark. He was only 15 yard !! He then proceeded to follow the doe away from my setup. I saw a couple of other deer around 7:45, a doe and a button buck. Then around 8:15 he returned. I stayed calm and prayed hard for a good shot, my prayers were answered with a double lung shot and a 60-yard blood trail.
