I had been watching this deer on a camera for a couple of years now and really wanted to get him killed with a bow. I wasn't able to get on him during his summer feeding pattern as he was mainly nocturnal even during archery season. I had family in town and we were rifle hunting and I got a shot at him 3/4 of a mile from where he spent the summer and first part of archery season. It was just my lucky day...
