Hunt Story
Buck had been showing up on my cell camera for a couple of nights. Climbed into the stand Saturday morning and saw 17 doe and six bucks that morning. After the action slowed down, I got down at 9:30 and headed home. At 1:30 p.m. the buck showed up on my camera. I was already in route to get in the stand. I got there at 3:05, the buck was standing in the bushes 30 yards from where I park my Jeep. I slowly got out of the Jeep and walked toward my stand, and he just stood there, so I ranged him at 30 yards. I drew back my bow and released an arrow, hitting him right behind the shoulder. He took off and went down right under my stand 65 yards away.
