I was hunting a food plot with my dad on our new property when this deer came out of the woods. We watched him for about 20 minutes hoping he would get a little closer but he suddenly ran off with about 5 does. He finally came back about 30 minutes later and was closer to the stand. I stayed as calm as I could and pulled the trigger. I made a perfect shot behind the shoulder and he ran less than 75 yards. This was my first deer.
