Hunt Story
This was my first time ever hunting in the snow, and I just had a feeling that it would be the day to see this buck. I have hunted him hard all year and passed on him once during rifle season due to having my son with me and wanting to give him a shot if it was presented to him, which it wasn’t, and that was the last time I saw that day in the daylight. The first time I got a daylight picture after that was the day after rifle season. It wasn’t until then that I learned Barrow County extended archery season. I knew it was a second chance. Thankfully it all came together, and he came out right at dark by himself.
