Hunt Story
I have been watching this deer on trail cam pics since June. In the last week leading up to season he was in a bachelor group that started coming to the same spot every evening. On opening day I set up on the ground watching this spot and a 6-point and an 8-point that he runs with came out and busted me immediately. The next day I was reluctant to sit there again thinking I was going to scare those deer off for good if I got busted again. Around 7:30 pm the 8 point and 6 point walked out again and I waited as long as I could hoping the 12 would walk out. I watched them for 10 minutes before something spooked them. Since there was no sign of the 12 I decided to shoot the 8. Not 10 minutes later the 12-point came out. When he walked out I frantically searched through the regulations to check if it was legal to shoot two bucks in the same day. After confirming I was legal I shot the 12-point at 7:55 pm. It was an amazing hunt I will never forget.
