Hunt Story

I was in the stand before 6 a.m. I have been scouting this area for a few weeks. There was minimal movement except for the squirrels and chipmunks. Around 8 a.m. a large doe came through, being Christmas Eve I let her walk on through. She eventually was out of sight. Around 8:30 I caught a glimpse of the buck moving down a trail parallel to the doe's trail. I zoomed in on him and confirmed he was a decent buck and then planned my shot. I picked a few openings through the thick brush and waited for him to move through one. He finally walked into a window of opportunity and I placed my shot. He went down where he stood.
