The area I was hunting was in an oak flat that always produces good deer. A few days prior to this hunt I was hunting in a bottom close to this area and saw two good bucks running does. One of them being this deer. On that day I was unable to stop them but started focusing on this area. Around 8 AM I was watching two does and two small bucks sparring. Around 8:15 this deer entered to my right to sort out the commotion. I was able to make a shot at about 60 yards. The shot was just a hair back so after a little patience and tracking I was able to recover him around 10:30 that morning.
