Hunt Story
He saw this deer Friday morning, and couldn’t get a shot. We pulled the card from where he was hunting. Sure enough this buck had been on it several times. He let a bunch of bucks walk so far this year trying to kill a good one. This deer is all we have talked about since Friday. We skipped this morning because he had friends over. At 6:45 he came in running the smaller bucks he was watching off. Then eased in and started making a scrape. He made a perfect shot with his 6.5 and when he called me I couldn’t get a straight word of English out of him. I knew he’d killed him.
