Hunt Story
While I was sitting in a ground blind that I had put up the day before, I had a nice 10-pointer walk out and start feeding in the foodplot. The foodplot was surrounded by an old clearcut which seemed to make the deer more comfortable. I slowly eased the gun up onto the shooting stick. He was quartering too and as soon as he lifted his head I squeezed the trigger. He ran back into thick cover but only made it to about 40 yards before he piled up.
