Hunt Story
Almost didn't go cause of weather. Very windy and rainy. Being last day of season wanted to go. Have a pretty good plot of oats and was hoping deer would be feeding. No action until 5:40 p.m., caught movement on right side of plot. Got my gun ready deer stepped into wood line into center of food plot (have a Y shaped plot). As he stepped out on left side I fired a neck shot. He bucked and turned, bullet exited out of ribs. He ran 20 yards and piled up. Another buck was on his heels just as big. Got my eye on him next season.
